The Foundation Years EARTH ERA
Paolo Mizuhara inherits the Mizuhara Horse Grounds (later renamed Oasis De Akia). Discovery of a 67-million-barrel oil reserve beneath the 415-acre parcel funds the genesis of what will become the Ceu Mente empire. Diversification into technology and land investment begins immediately. Mizuhara is elected Mayor of Isaopolis: renaming the city in honor of his mother: triggering a 40,000-person population surge within two years.

Governor of Bahia EARTH ERA
Mizuhara wins the governorship of Bahia, transferring the state capital to Isaopolis. He marries Akia (b. 1970) on September 2nd. Two years later he acquires Almeida Plastics from the widow of his mentor, preserving the Almeida name within M.A.L.C. in a gesture of loyalty that defines his public character to this day.

Ascension to the Presidency of Brazil
Mizuhara's economic miracle: relocating East Asian companies to Brazil and Chile and employing tens of thousands of locals: draws political rivals who engineer a campaign of persecution. His election to the Brazilian presidency triggers a coordinated sabotage effort by entrenched interests.

Wrongful Ousting INJUSTICE EVENT
On fabricated charges of anti-Brazilian foreign dealings, Mizuhara is removed from the presidency. Ceu Mente (net worth: ~10B Terrdoles / 25B USD) relocates operations to nations welcoming his economic programs. History will vindicate him.

Second Spot: Solar Event Over Asia CRISIS
The Second Solar Spot compounds S1 damage. TOMs project head Max Stiedl publicly attacks Ceu Mente's vision as a "fool's errand." In 2063 the TOMs satellite network is hacked and declared uncommunicable, costing the UN 50 billion in damages. Stiedl resigns. He dies in Austrian exile in 2065, aged 66. His mockery is remembered only in these records: as a warning.

THE GREAT ASCENSION: August 16th, 08:00 GMT-3 APEX EVENT
Terra Superior launches from Antarctica. Nations across the southern hemisphere witness it rise into the sky. It navigates the Sky Sliver: a gap in satellite coverage: causing zero satellite damage, despite the false claims of TOMs project successor Eileen Worth. 10,561 crew aboard at launch; 37 casualties from unsecured equipment. Over the following six months, 5 million people ascend.

WORLD WAR E: March 24th CATASTROPHE
The UN coalition (US, EU, Canada, UK, Israel) declares war on Chile and all SHC member nations. Ceu Mente: who had anticipated this jealousy: had quietly transformed iceless Antarctica into a nuclear stronghold. A shadow operation to seize the Antarctic launch complex (later confirmed as UK/Canadian operatives) is thwarted. Retaliatory strikes follow. Nuclear exchange. Ground war. Global fire. 90% of humanity perishes. Only Antarctica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Oasis De Akia survive intact.

CSF Victory Declaration: August 16th NEW ORDER
On the one-year anniversary of the Great Ascension, Ceu Mente declares victory for the SHC. All surviving humans are placed under CSF protection. Terra Superior reaches ~90% capacity. The final 8% capacity: reserved against unforeseen contingency: is filled with Antarctican survivors and healthy SHC citizens. Approximately one billion humans remain on a dying Earth.

Criadera Announced: The Thousand-Year Promise
Ceu Mente announces Criadera: a new planet at 5:1 Earth scale, to be constructed in opposing orbit over an estimated 1,000 years. Asteroid mining, planetary terraforming, moon harvesting, and satellite milling are designated as the four pillars of construction supply. The SHC is renamed the Criadera Space Federation (CSF). All companies fold into MALC.

Lunar Colonization: First Colonial Spacecraft
CSF deploys its first colonial vessel to the Moon, establishing Lunohlo Space Harbor as a relay station for asteroid mining and deep-space exploration.

July 2096: A small but symbolic step. The first successful asteroid mining run delivers raw material toward the Criadera build supply chain. The machinery of the future turns over for the first time.

Fallen Virtue: The Satellite Milling Project Begins PRESENT DAY
March 2103: The first satellite is brought down: designated Fallen Virtue (FV). The Falling Sky Operative launches with MALC-certified Scrappers deploying in Chryso-01 earthcraft and Guino land vehicles. ~800K satellites remain in orbit; 4–6 fall naturally per month. An equilibrium effect was discovered: felling one set others in motion. Unsanctioned factions now also hunt fallen satellites for personal gain.

Late June 2103: A rogue vessel lands on the far side of the Moon from Lunohlo. Unknown affiliates: suspected surviving space engineers: appear to be establishing an unauthorized colony. Diplomatic contact is initiated.

In 2051 Mizuhara transcended biological existence, becoming Ceu Mente: a complete cognitive clone instantiated on Terra Superior. He now administers the CSF, MALC, and all subsidiary operations from orbit. The most intelligent entity ever to exist. Architect of humanity's future. He is not a machine. He is more.

Beloved wife of Paolo Mizuhara. In 2063 the 30,000-satellite TOMs network was hacked and rendered uncommunicable: costing the UN 50 billion in damages. Stiedl resigned in disgrace and died in rural exile two years later. His contempt is preserved here as a record of what small minds accomplish.

TOMs successor to Max Stiedl and equally poor in judgment. Following the Great Ascension of 2073, Worth falsely claimed that thousands of satellites were irreparably damaged during Terra Superior's launch through the Sky Sliver: a demonstrably unfounded allegation. Her claims contributed directly to the political climate that escalated into World War E. She did not survive the fallout she helped engineer.

The Fallen Virtues program feeds raw materials toward initial stockpiling goals.

Established 2092 as CSF's first lunar colonial installation. Functions as a relay station for asteroid mining operations and as a waypoint for deep-space exploration. Terrenos Tampão
The buffer zone region immediately outside the walls of New Isaopolis. Not a recognized Safe & Secure zone in the traditional sense, its existence was formed during the mass refugee influx post CSF Victory in 2074. Most people remain hoping for eventual clearance and immigration into New Isaopolis. The region accumulates the dead en masse: Mortera casualties, radiation fatalities, failed crossings, and Necrowalker remains, as it is not an officially recognized area by MALC. It is patrolled exclusively by MALC-contracted Sweeper and Enforcement crews. Unauthorized entry from outside is not advised. Exit without clearance from inside N.I. is a Sendoto-enforced violation.

Andea Enclaves
A disputed or informal enclave designation referenced by those who claim origin from it. Not recognized in any official MALC S&S registry. Dismissed by some New Isaopolis workers as non-existent. Population and geographic data unavailable. Status: unverified.

Criadera Space Federation (CSF) / MALC
STATUS: RULING AUTHORITY: ACTIVE
The Criadera Space Federation: formerly the Space Horizon Confederation: is the governing body of Terra Superior and all recognized earthside S&S zones under MALC administration. Formerly a coalition of Chile, China, Japan, Turkey, Russia Frederation, the South/Central American Alliance, and South Asian Military Pact members. After World War E, it became the sole surviving organized governmental authority on Earth or in orbit. Mizuhara & Almeida Lands Corp. (MALC) serves as its commercial and logistical arm. All roads lead to Ceu Mente.
SHC
Space Horizon Confederation (S.H.C.)
STATUS: PREDECESSOR TO CSF: DISSOLVED 2077
Formed around the Terra Superior project, the SHC was the multi-nation alliance led by Chile and China that enabled the Great Ascension. Unjustly sanctioned by Western powers who feared what unity and vision could accomplish. Formally dissolved and absorbed into the CSF in 2077 as the post-war order was consolidated under Ceu Mente's direct governance.
United Nations / TOMs Initiative
STATUS: DEFUNCT: DISSOLVED IN WORLD WAR E
The former United Nations and its Triune Orbital Mending satellite project represented the opposing political will to humanity's salvation. Their 30,000-satellite TOMs network was rendered uncommunicable in 2063 after a catastrophic hack. Their declaration of war in 2074 resulted in the near-extinction of human civilization. The UN no longer exists in any functional sense. Its member states are either annihilated, absorbed into CSF-aligned governance, or surviving as unrecognized enclaves. Their records are preserved here as historical context.

STATUS: ACTIVE THREAT: EARTHSIDE
Designation applied to an estimated 1.2% of surviving Earth-surface humans who were irrevocably mutated or neurologically damaged by the nuclear fallout yet remain biologically alive. Zombie-like in behavior: hostile to any contact on sight: yet retain enough cognitive function to communicate and self-sustain. Officially recognized as a sub-species in CSF biological taxonomy. Shunned by earthling survivor society. Not eligible for MALC S&S zone access without RESTRICTED PROTOCOL CLEARANCE.
Mortera
STATUS: ACTIVE THREAT: MULTIPLE EARTHSIDE REGIONS
A collective term for the diverse mutated organisms that emerged from nuclear fallout across Earth's surface. Distinguished from Necrowalkers in that Mortera are not derived from human stock exclusively: though the line is debated by CSF xenobiologists. They have established territorial factions in irradiated zones, demonstrated reproductive capacity, and show fledgling social organization. Inhabit areas uninhabitable by unmodified humans. Approach with extreme caution. Do not engage without MALC-certified equipment.
Luukmal [MORTERA SUBSPECIES: ACTIVE THREAT]
CLASSIFICATION: MORTERA // MUTATIONS // THREAT LEVEL: EXTREME
A Homo sapien-derived Mortera strain emergent from regions of petroleum refinement and active or abandoned drilling sites. Luukmal have adapted to liquid environments: oil, industrial waste, standing water, or any fluid body of a minimum 30 CM depth: using the liquid as both habitat and molting medium.

The molting process sees the Luukmal submerge and chemically combine with the surrounding liquid, restructuring into a featureless, fast-moving quadruped. Outside of a functional mouth, no other recognizable facial or anatomical features have been documented. Flesh composition remains unexamined: subjects are so thoroughly coated in and saturated with their host liquid that direct contact poses severe contamination risk. Dissection has not been sanctioned.

ADVISORY: AVOID AT ALL COST. Bodies of liquid conceal active Luukmal. Standard visibility and sonar detection are ineffective in petroleum-dense environments. All liquid bodies in former industrial or drilling zones are to be treated as confirmed hostile regardless of apparent stillness.

Rogue Lunar Collective [UNDESIGNATED]

An unidentified group: believed to comprise surviving space engineers who rejected CSF authority over the past two to three decades: detected landing a rogue vessel on the far lunar side from Lunohlo Space Harbor in late June 2103. Motivations unknown. A calculated, diplomatic approach is being undertaken. No designation assigned pending contact outcome. Records will be updated as information becomes available.

STATUS: ACTIVE RECRUITMENT: EARTHSIDE OPERATIONS
The working hands of the Satellite Milling Project and the most actively recruited role available to earthside survivors. Scrapper certification is obtained through the SMP Recruitment Caravan, which circuits recognized S&S zones on a periodic schedule. Candidates undergo physical, mental, and intelligence assessments administered aboard the Caravan. Results are tiered: higher placement yields better gear allocation.

Certification requires retina scan and DNA sample registration with the CSF. Previous failed attempts are logged but do not disqualify future applicants. Minimum age and fitness thresholds apply. The Caravan is the only sanctioned path to official Scrapper status.

STATUS: ACTIVE — SATELLITE MILLING PROJECT
The Falling Sky Operative is the operational program under which all certified Scrappers are deployed. Launched in March 2103 following the first Fallen Virtue (FV), the program organizes Scrapper teams by gear tier and assigns priority targets based on SMP drone survey data. Tier placement is determined by Caravan assessment scores. Gear allocation can be upgraded upon successful retrieval milestones.

Unsanctioned operatives working outside MALC authority are classified as illegal scrappers. They hold no CSF field law protections and are subject to asset seizure on contact with certified personnel.

TIER 2 — GUINO OPERATOR
Mid placement. Issued a Guino land vehicle for ground-based retrieval operations. No aerial range. Survey access is partial: assigned sites only, no priority override. Compensation and supply allocation below Tier 1. Eligible for Chryso-01 upgrade upon retrieval milestone.
TIER 3 — CERTIFIED / NO GEAR
Lowest certified placement. Holds official Scrapper certification but receives no vehicle or earthcraft at time of assignment. Must source transport independently or attach to an existing Tier 1 or Tier 2 team. No survey access. Minimal supply allocation. Eligible for Guino assignment upon first successful retrieval report.
Waste Farm Mulcher / Scav
STATUS: ACTIVE: UNDESIRABLE LABOR / LOW COMPENSATION
Waste Farm Mulchers and surface Scavs represent the lowest rung of recognized earthside labor. Work is performed on active waste farms processing fallout refuse, biological runoff, and salvageable organic material. Conditions are extreme. Compensation is subsistence-level. Long-term exposure results in documented respiratory damage and sensory degradation including loss of smell.

Mulcher and Scav positions require no certification and accept most able-bodied applicants. They are commonly used by survivors building toward SMP Scrapper qualification while maintaining income. The work keeps you alive. It is not considered a career by MALC employment standards, but it is recognized labor and reported to SMP relay nodes for credit toward basic certification eligibility.

Note: the majority of active Waste Farm Mulchers and Scavs operate outside the MALC employment umbrella entirely, with no relay reporting, no eligibility credit, and no CSF labor protections. Listing here reflects the recognized minority only.

Mechanic Cell
STATUS: ACTIVE — NEW ISAOPOLIS INTERIOR / MALC FACILITIES
Mechanic Cell workers are stationed inside New Isaopolis and MALC-operated facilities, assigned to the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery including the large mechanical units that sustain interior operations. Work takes place in conditions of extreme heat, open steam, suspended elevation, and near-zero visibility inside machine cavities. Foreman-led teams of two or more. New recruits are expected to perform at pace immediately.

Recruitment for Mechanic Cell positions is processed through New Isaopolis intake. Workers cleared for interior assignment are issued a Sendoto wrist monitor for the duration of their posting. The Sendoto is permanently affixed while inside N.I. walls and tracks location and biometric conditions in real time. Unauthorized departure from assigned zones or conduct deemed non-compliant triggers an electrical discharge capable of full paralysis. It is presented as a condition of the privilege of N.I. residency.

Failure to meet performance standards results in reassignment to Terrenos Tampão.

Terrenos Tampão Sweeper

Terrenos Tampão Sweepers (TTS) are a MALC-contracted cleanup crew operating in the Terrenos Tampão buffer zone outside New Isaopolis. Their function is the recovery and disposal of dead bodies from Mortera skirmishes, radiation casualties, Necrowalker remains, faction skirmishes, and those who did not survive the buffer zone crossing. Work is performed in an uncontrolled exterior environment with no guaranteed shelter and limited supply allocation.

A TTPE officer, colloquially called a Grunger, is a community policing and peace enforcement agent stationed in the Terrenos Tampão region. Grungers are tasked with keeping order, mediating resource disputes, and acting as the primary barrier between the desperate population of TT and the lawlessness of the border zone adjacent to New Isaopolis.

A dangerous but well-paying posting by TT standards, Grungers are considered a pillar of the community. They are among the few figures in the region that hold recognized authority without being stationed inside N.I. walls. The role draws applicants willing to operate in the uncontrolled exterior long-term, and is one of the few TT positions that carries genuine social standing.
